Her Kingdom
There was once a princess who lived in a luxurious castle with vast towering walls that protected her kingdom for hundreds of years. The peace of her kingdom was disrupted one day with angry invaders, as they wanted to rule her precious land. They came with cannons and arrows, and shot her soldiers down, one by one till none were left. Her high walls were ruined, the monarch of her kingdom was taken, her loved fortress had been overthrown.
The new ruler was fierce, arrogant and demanding. She was locked up in a small sinister cell while she watched her kingdom slowly dissipate into nothingness. She felt the heat prickling on her skin like tiny needles. Her usual pale skin flushed due to the sun’s rays. She looked into the crimson red sun and saw a pair of strange eyes that she could barely recognize; so vacant, so lost. She looked away and saw a familiar face, so distant. She reached towards, and fell into a dark, bottomless pit.
