Tiny Mac Burgers
I bet you thought I have forgotten this hobby of mine. But due to a request by SERENA, who was craving for McSpicy, I started on my
Clayfanatism again.
Presenting the McSpicy, which does not really look like McSpicy.

Inspiration came and I did the Double Cheeseburger. Reason why I chose the Double Cheeseburger was because the vegetables were crap to do. I could not mix the correct shade of green, and I have not found a fool proof way of making them. Thus, pardon me for the crappy lettuce.

AND HORROR OF ALL HORRORS! I went out, and returned home to find my beloved tiny burgers
squashed!!! Culprit was not found. I had not baked them because I like to wait for more and bake them together.

Even though squashed, the Double Cheese burger looks quite good eh.
As mentioned in my previous post, I had blurred vision. But I could not stand my beloved burgers being squashed, so despite suffering from blurred vision, I remade them.

McSpicy which looks like McChicken. Sesame seeds look purrrrrrrfect!

Double Cheeseburger. I think the bun may be a bit too small.

BIG MAC! No idea why the sesame seeds ran out of place.
And lastly, for CARYN TAN:

Fish-O-Fillet (Fillet-O-Fish)
This time, I made sure I baked them immediately after I had completed. No more squashed burgers!!

Breakfast and Ramen
A lazy Saturday night and Sunday afternoon led me to play more with my clay. Guess surfing mini-food blogs contributed to the urge, too.
Made this breakfast set last night because I saw some baked beans and wanted to try it out. These are pre-baked.

Grilled sausages, sunny-side-ups, harsh browns, baked beans and cucumbers.

I made the ramen today. Took one photo while assembling the initial ingredients but forgot the later parts.

The Japanese fishcake, egg and some spring onions.

Completed with some corn and seaweed.
I wanted to paint the Japanese bowl's exterior black, but I realized all my acrylic paints were liquid EXCEPT THE BLACK! Oh the horror!

Happy Halloween
Since it's Halloween, I made some mini pumpkins a pumpkin pie. I've never eaten a pumpkin pie, because I hate pumpkins.

Well, Happy Halloween people.

Clay Time Yet Again
A few days ago I went on a sushi craze. I bet you thought I will forget this expensive hobby of mine! But as I was cleaning the dust of my old miniatures, I had this sudden impulse to craft again. Yay for me!
As I mentioned earlier, I was in a sushi craze. So I made different Makis.
They are rolled into rolls and then cut after being partially cured (baked). Some aren't cut very well, so I had to do a QC. Choose those that look nice or try to make them look better.

Japanese Cucumber Maki. I forgot what's it called in Japanese.

Tamago Maki

Salmon Maki and California Maki. The Salmon Maki is a little bigger than it's supposed to be. =(

After QC. Some are still a little ugly so I had to do some correction.

Being placed onto "plates". Some are without the wasabi and pink ginger, they were added on later.

My first attempt at Temaki! WOOHOO! Tempura's color is off, I shaded it after I took the photo.
Salmon Sashimi. I underestimated the amount of translucent for the "fats", hence the odd coloring. Damn. Will try this again.

My beloved Pandan Cake!!

On a
not so nice stand.

Red Velvet Cake with cranberry topping. Also my first attempt at doing "whipped cream". I kinda failed. The whipped cream blended in together too quickly. Psst, this was done by added corn flour! =|
DONUTS AGAIN!!

I added more to my previous donut collection. Some were done today, some were done on the sushi day and some were done weeks ago. Boy, these donuts look so cute!

Try guessing the flavors! =D
I made a bowl specially to contain my many donuts. They are so tiny. It took me half a day to do 15 of them. Made my neck and back all cranky.

Donuts
Recently, I've started my clay madness again. I wake up to make some clay and I go to sleep thinking about how I should craft my next piece. Haven't been too productive, as I am experimenting on mooncakes. But obviously it isn't successful, because you don't see me flaunting those pictures in your face.
So here's one picture of my recent craze, donuts.
I did make some other stuff, but I'm lazy to upload them. Till another time, folks.

Holiday Season
Strawberry cake. Stupid Strawberry slices gave me a headache. I tried multiple times and either did not get the right color or not done straight. This one isn't right, but the best I can.

FOR SERENA!!
I think I can say I will NEVER do durians again. The spikes are a pain in the ass. Especially the half durian, totally pain in the ass. The color isn't right as I put the color on after I blew dry the clay, so the color couldn't stick onto the not-damp clay. As I did, the stupid spikes kept falling off! Curses!

The Old Pastime
Yes, it's finally clay time again. I admit I have lost quite some motivation in doing these. However!! I shall allow my money to go to waste; therefore, showcase again!

Christina Tang Hui Min! This is for you, egg tarts. No, I didn't forget, the second one has no chao ta part. I colored it after I took this photo.

Red bean fishy! For Mr. Chaw, since he has a craving for it.

Uncolored pie crust.

With each cranberry painstakingly rolled and placed on top.

To be covered by more crust.
Yes, only three items for today. I shall TRY to do some more if I have any inspirations. Toodles, kids.

Clay Time Again
It's past Christmas and New Year, and so, it's time for a new batch of clay madness!
This time, it's the pies craze. Let me show you how I do the pie crust. Yes, they start out white, and I've molded them into their shapes.

Then I scrap off some soft pastels and shade them till the color I like.

Those fruit canes I showed before comes in handy! Slice them and stick them onto the stupid pie crusts. Tadah! Mini fruit tarts!

Made bigger ones. Strawberry, mixed fruits and blue berry pie (or tart).

This is out of nowhere, but, soup in bread.

Finally my glaze arrived! Triple Thick, Diamond, Fire Glazed finish! HOOOHAAA!

Glazed on tarts - The "wet" finish.

Mid-way
Yeahyeah. Three down, one more to go. Have been rotting on Wednesday and today (Thursday). I speed watched Cruel Temptation and made some clay today. Like finally!
Ummmm~ I'm so hungry. Are you? This is real, hahahaha.

Some chocolate cake.

Bento box. The box looks like crap, but it took me blardy long to do. The dumplings look weird, will try to perfect them some other time. The red stuff are tomatoes, and the two brown things are Koroke (fried mashed potato, I think), the other brown thing is bread, brocoli and carrots.
Lastly, a turkey! I couldn't think of any more stuff to make, so I started to pack. When I was three quarters done, I got inspiration! I didn't make anymore though.

Merry Christmas y'all!Labels: Art
